El pasado jueves 29 de Octubre fui de la mano de trnd España como Blogger invitado con muchas espectativas al congreso de Marketing Online que OME organizaba en Barcelona .
Esperaba escuchar las últimas tendencias de mano de los mejores profesionales en Marketing Online y Digital y la verdad me quede en eso en “espectativas”
Suelo ser crítico contructivo y cuando señalo algo aporto soluciones para mejorarlo, pero en este caso voy a ser simplemente crítico ya que pienso que los organizadores son profesionales en esto.
La organización fue excelente así como el trato por parte del personal del evento, el lugar escogido fue técnicamente bueno pero un poco justo de espacio, en la mayoría de ponencias a las que asistí quedaron personas sin poderse sentar y ni tan siquiera entrar. Varias ponencias se solapaban lo cual dificulto la asistencia a varias de ellas.
Los patrocinadores escasos en número y espacio, con poca logística dieron un aspecto muy pobre al congreso, no sabemos si la culpa es de la crísis como algunos comentaban o la coincidencia con otro evento en Madrid el European Ecommerce Conference ya hemos hablado muchas veces de la la solapación de eventos ……………..¡ y es que no aprendemos ¡
Un gran número de las ponencias venían de la mano de los propios patrocinadores-expositores lo cual no significa que no sean buenos profesionales pero muchos de ellos ofrecieron un publireportaje maquillado de los beneficios de sus campañas.
Nosotros que nos dedicamos al SEO y posicionamiento web, tuvimos ocasión de compartir muchos minutos y muchas risas con distintos profesionales del sector como Rafael Jimenez y Eduardo Garolera , Miguel Orense , Ismael elqudsi que animo el cotarro en la charla de Mitos y realidades sobre el Marketing en Buscadores.
Uno de los principales errores en este tipo de eventos es que no esta definido el perfil de los asistentes, sinceramente pensaba en un evento con un nivel más profesional, no técnico pero si con más nivel y durante la charla de ( Alex Gibelalde, Product Marketing Manager de Google ) me percaté del nivel de los asistentes por las preguntas del personal que en algunas ocasiones me dieron vergüenza ajena, Alex un tío muy majo aguanto el tipo estoicamente.
Tuve oportunidad de charlar también un rato con Sven Mulfinger, Director General de Trnd España que me explico con detalle el planteamiento y el objetivo de Trnd del cual os recomiendo entrar en la web. Lástima de no poder escuchar su charla sin duda interesante.
Como no todo es crítica también tengo que decir que siempre se aprende algo y esa es una de mis premisas aprender siempre, incluso cuando duermes.
Si algo tengo cada vez más claro es en el Vídeo como posicionamiento y modelo publicitario es la opción con mayor crecimiento en el futuro ya inmediato, de ahí como explicó Alex cada minuto se suben 20 horas de vídeo en YouTube.
